The Varsity Division is RMSBL’s premier high school division for rising 11th–12th grade players and 2026 graduates. The division features six league-approved teams including three Washington County teams and three invite-only out-of-county teams.

Varsity operates as a bring-your-own-sponsor and bring-your-own-team division.

Sponsorship Requirement

  1. Each Varsity team is responsible for its own team sponsorship in order to participate.

  2. Teams may personally cover the sponsorship cost or secure a business or community sponsor to support the team.

  3. Sponsorship payment is required before a Varsity team spot is officially reserved. A team is not guaranteed placement until the sponsorship payment has been received.

varsity Structure

Each team must have:

  • Its own team sponsor

  • Sponsorship payment submitted by the deadline

  • An approved coach or team representative

  • A roster approved by league leadership

  • A commitment to league rules, sportsmanship, and conduct standards

The division includes:

  • 3 Washington County teams (2 remaining)

  • 3 out-of-county teams: All out-of-county Varsity teams are invite-only.

Washington County Teams

Washington County Varsity teams may include up to two out-of-county players on their roster.

Out-of-County Teams

Out-of-county Varsity teams must consist entirely of out-of-county players from the same county or area and are admitted by invitation only. Teams may not combine players from multiple out-of-county areas.

League Authority

RMSBL reserves the right to review and approve all Varsity rosters in the best interest of league competitiveness and integrity
